September 2020 Staff News
We are please to announce the arrival of Dr Dr Chinedum Egbuedike. He was trained locally and has been covering us in recent times as a locum. Many of you will have met him already.
He works at both Kings Heath and Park Avenue on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
Angie O'Sullivan also started today as a Health Care Professional. She is a very experienced HCP and lives and has worked in the area. She comes from Earls Barton surgery. SH will be working at bothe KIngs Heath and will be working alongside Jackie, Shirely, Zyna and Jenny.
We are looking forward to Keara Neeson who is a Nurse Practitioner. She is currently working in A&E. She is due to arrive on 21 September and then will undergo a week of induction. Keara will be able to prescribe medication.
You may also have seen Richard who is a first contact physio. He works across our Primary Care Network and although he does not do physiotherapy he assess patients and will refer them, if necessary to the appropriate services. The is proving to be successful in getting patients treated much quicker that normal.
Chris is our relatively new Clinical Pharmacist, he comes from Boots. He is excellent at sorting patients' medication but will also see patients for some minor conditions.
What this all means is that we have been working extremely hard to add capacity to the practice so that you can get to see the clinician you need to see as quickly as possible.
