We respect the confidentiality & privacy of all our patients, including chidlren & young people under 16. Infomration shared with our practice will be treated confidentially. We will not normally share infomration about a child or young person with their parents, carers, or anyone else without their consent, where they have the undertsanding to make this decision.

 

We encourage chidlren & young peoplr to involve a trusted adult in their healthcare. however we respect their right to confidentiality in accordance with prfessional guidance and the law.

 

There are exceptional circumstances where we may need to share infomation about any patinet without consent, for example where this is rrquired by law,ordered by a court, or necessary for safeguarding purposes to protect a person from serios harm.

 

Our practice follows relevant NHS guidance, UK data protetcion legislation & professional confidentiality standards.
